Italian Flag Tricolor
Italian Flag is often known as Italian as II Tricolore for the three colors. It consists of three erect bands of green, white and red of the same size. The green color is on the hoist side. Green represents the plains and the hills of Italy, white represents the snowy Alps and red is the blood that was shed during Italian independence wars. The religious interpretation is that the green represents hope; the white represents faith and the red represents charity. These are the three theological virtues of Bible.
