In the continent of North America, there were various types of tribes and each of them needed a housing type that suits them the best, depending on their lifestyle and their climate. Depending on their geographic features and the types of tribes the Native American homes are needed to be built differently. The different types of Native American homes were: Wigwah Homes, Longhouses, Tepees, Grass Houses, Wattle and Daub Houses, Chickees, Adobe Houses, Earthen Houses, Plank Houses, Igloos and Brush Shelters.

Lakota Nation is formed by the Native American tribes. This tribe basically is formed of a conglomeration of seven tribes who are united by a common language Lakota that significantly is one of the three major dialects of the Sioux language. A recent furore of Lakota nation happened when they withdrew from treaties with U.S. government. This caused a major controversy in all spheres.
Sitting Bull Martyr Native American Tribes
Jumping Badger, the original name of the Sitting Bull was one of the greatest martyrs who belonged to the Native American Tribes of Hunkpapa, Lakota and Siounx. He was born in the year 1831 in the area around the Grand River, in the region of South Dakota. His name shines as one of the men who had dedicated his life towards the freedom of the Native Americans from the hands of the US Administration at that time.

One of the methods used for catching fish is with the help of fish traps. Though these traps vary in details of design most of them primarily consist of a barrier laid into the river or stream which then channels the fish into a basket or box. Northwest Coast Indians Tribal Inhabitants Of Shuswap And Swinomish
Northwest Coast Indians were the inhabitants of the Oregon, which is in Washington. Their inhabitance stretches in the north up to Alaska by the side of Pacific Ocean to the coast of Northern California. They were divided into many tribes namely, Shuswap, Swinomish, Tlingit, Bella Coola, Haida, Kwakiuts, Nisqualli, Nootka, Quinault, Makah, Nez Perce, Puyallup, and Tsimshian. The area where this tribe is living is crowded with narrow beaches, small islands and deep inlets, which are rugged stripes of land. The area was very rich in its natural resources. Thick forests of spruce, cedar, and fir dominate the area supplying and continuous supply of wood.
