Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) is a life threatening head trauma or head injury caused by abusing a child. It happens when a baby or a small child is thrown, dropped, dealt a blow to the dead directly or shaken vigorously. Number of victims of SBS is increasing every year in the country. This mainly happens when a whiplash (neck sprains) type of a movement is applied to the child. It happens generally to the babies of less than 1 year.
