Union Texas A Campus for Co Curricular Activities
In 1933, with the fiftieth anniversary year of the University of Texas at Austin, Union Texas opened its doors. It has been the meeting place on the campus for students, faculty, staff, alumini and visitors. With a goal to provide cocurricular activity space for the university's students, a massive fund-raising campaign was conducted by the Ex-Students' Association which provided half the funds for construction of the building too.
