Temple Football Team Participate NAAC Division I Bowl Subdivision
The Temple Owls football team is a member of the Mid-American Conference and as being a part of it their team participates in the NACCs Division I Football Bowl Subdivision. The Temple football team had been the member of the Big East Conference from 1991 to 2004 but because of the objection from Villanova they could not become the full time member of that organization. So they are affiliated by the MAC and their primary conference is the Atlantic Ten Conference.

Stampede In Chamunda Devi Temple Of Jodhpur Kills Over 113 People At The Onset Of Navratri
Tuesday at 5:30 am a stampede took place at Chamunda Devi temple situated in an ancient hill- top Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. There were more than 25, 000 worshippers who gathered at the temple to celebrate the onset of Navaratri, the greatest festival among the Hindus in India. This incident has caused more than 113 deaths and injuries to over 300 people. As per the initial reports, there was a collapse of a wall near the entry gate and the stampede took place when people related the collapse with a bomb explosion.
