Children Of The Corn Horror Story By Stephen King
Published originally in March 1977 issue of the Penthouse Magazine, Children of the Corn is a short horror story by Stephen King. The popularity of the story leads to a film being made based on it titled Disciples of the Crow. Later in 1984 a more well known film was made with the same name as the book, directed by Fritz Kiersch and starring Peter Horton and Linda Hamilton. In the film it has carved out a genre for itself resulting in number of sequels and re-makes of indifferent quality. The story was later included in the Stephen collection titled Night Shift.

Jean Shepherd was a American raconteur, radio and Television personality, actor and writer. He was born on 26th July 1921, in Chicago, Illinois. He was raised in Hammond, Indiana. He is most popularly known for narrating the 1983 film, A Christmas Story. He also co-wrote the movie, which was based on his own semi-autobiographical stories.
