Back Softball Campaign To Get Olympic Berth
Back Softball is the campaign of the International Softball Federation (ISF) to include softball in the 2016 Olympic Games. The campaign gained momentum with more and more participations and worldwide progresses. It plans to launch a more aggressive campaign from October 2007. The International Olympic Committee is to decide on the game to be included in 2009 in Copenhagen.

Jennie Finch Pitcher USA Softball Team
A very athlete and softball player, Jennie Finch was born on September 3, 1980. She occasionally uses her husband's name i.e. Daigle. She is regarded as the most softball player, of all time, through out her country. She was a pitcher for USA Softball team in the year 2004 and her team won the gold medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Catherine Leigh Osterman better known as Cat Osterman is a American athlete and one of the pitchers in the USA Womens Softball team. She was born on April 16, 1983, in Houston, Texas. She holds the NCAA Division 1 career strikeout record with 2,265 strikeouts over her career of four years. She was the member of the team which won the Gold Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Amanda Buckley Softball Star And Victim Of Heinous Crime
Hundreds of people including parents, relatives and friends gathered around second base at the municipal baseball field on Plant Drive in Palm Beach Gardens on 22nd July, holding candles, to mourn Amanda Buckley, an 18 year old softball star, who was sexually assaulted and brutally murdered on 20th July. She was a shinning star and had a bright future in softball. Palm Beach County has arrested Jason Shenfeld on charges of killing Amanda and Circuit Judge Krista Marx has sentenced him 15 years in prison for violating his probation.
