Singing Bowls Meditation Accompaniment
Known as Himalayan bowls or rin gongs in Japan, Singing bowls are a type of bell, classified as a standing bell. Instead of hanging inverted or attached to a handle, it sits with the bottom surface resting. The sides and rim vibrate to produce sound and were traditionally used in Asia for Buddhist meditation practice, trance induction and prayer.
