William Smokey Robinson was born and brought up in Detroit, Michigan's North End neighborhood in January 19, 1940. During his childhood one of his uncle lovingly named him Smoky Joe because of his craze for cowboys movies. That means his attention towards world of entertainment is ingrained in his mind from the very childhood. Presently his status in the MOTOWN record label is second just after the founder of the company Berry Gordy.

Koren Robinson was signed by Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday. The star wide receiver came to fame in 2002 when he had caught 78 passes playing for Seattle Seahawks. The deal between the club and the star player has been finalized at a time when most of the players belonging to the club playing in the position of receiver are injured.

An album called Make it Happen was released in 1967 by Smokey Robinson in collaboration with the Miracles for the Tamla Label. One of the exquisite songs in the album was the Tears of a Clown. The song was released once again in September 1970 in UK where it hit the top of the singles chart. It was the first ever Motown hit to reach top in the United Kingdom.
