Starlight Parade Portland Rose Festival
Starlight Parade is the most important event without which the celebration of Portland Rose Festival is never complete. Formerly known by the name of the celebration itself, the wonderful parade had its beginning back in the year of 1907 when red fire lit up the streets of Portland. The parade was organized by the fire department and it marched through Yamhill Street. The next year viewed the parade of electric lights as well as torches illuminated brilliantly.
