The Family International Religious Movement
The Family International is a religious movement that had its origin in California, United States in 1968. Often referred to as a cult, the movement was originally called The Children of God. The name was later changed to the Family of Love, the Family and subsequently it was given the name of The Family international. This was basically a religious movement that had members who were converts from the hippie movement and an outcome of the Jesus Movement of the 1960s.
