A new survey has found out that more deals and promotions are in offer this year from the online retailers who have planned to encourage online shopping on the Monday after Thanksgiving. Shop.org organized the survey which revealed that 83.7 percent of retailers have planned for special promotions on that Monday which is unofficially termed as the “Cyber Monday”. Last year this figure was 72.2 percent. One-off deals, e-mail campaigns and one-day sales are the expected forms of such special promotions. Shop.org is a division of the National Retail Federation.
