Jennifer ("Jenny") Beth Thompson was born on February 26, 1973 and has been a competitive swimmer as well as one of the much decorated Olympians in history. She managed to receive twelve medals that were inclusive of eight gold medals at the time of representing the United States of America in 1996, 1992, 2000 as well as 2004 Summer Olympics.

Nadia Olympic Gold Medal Winner Gymnast
Nadia is the former Olympic Gold medal-winning gymnast, who was the first perfect ten-point owner in an Olympic event. Within the two Olympics, from 1976 to 1980 she won five gold medals, three silver medals and a bronze medal. Not only that she also had performed tremendously well in the Gymnastic World Championships and European Championships. After retirement she began to train the young gymnasts and still now may be she is the best-known gymnast in the world.

The Olympic Updates Suggest That The US And China Had Taken The Lead In The Total Medal Count
As per the latest reports on Tuesday 2008, the United States and China have occupied the leading position in the medal count in the Summer Olympics of 2008. So far, the United States has been able to bag a total of 21 medals- seven gold, six silver and eight bronze! Monday night experienced the setting up of a new world and Olympic record by Michael Phelps in the 400 meter individual medley. Phelps took 4 minutes, 3.84 seconds to set up the record and to reward him with his third gold medal.

A three time Olympic swimmer (1984, 1988 and 1992) Swimmer Biondi or Matthew Nicholas Biondi better known as Matt was born in PaloAlto in California on the 8th of October in the year 1965. Matt had won a total number of eleven medals in the three Olympics and in the year 1988 alone he won 7 medals and equaled the record of Mark Spitz as the second swimmer to have won such a record number of medals in a single game. In the Seoul Olympics Matt set world records in total 4 events and won five golds.
