He is the Chairman of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Board of Directors as well as the majority shareholder of WWE. His WWE is the sole remaining major American professional wrestling promotion after World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), closed. He has won two World Championships as an in-ring performer and those are WWE and ECW World Championships. He was also the winner of the 1999 Royal Rumble. On June11, 2007 after an explosion, he was presumed to be dead, but this WWE Death incident did not actually happen as was acknowledged by WWE later.
