Walrus Marine Mammal
A large flippered marine mammal which is mostly found in the Arctic Ocean and Sub-arctic Seas, the Walrus is the only living mammal of the Odobenidae family. Odobenidae is one of the three lineages in the Carnivora suborder and is called Pinnipedia. The walrus species is further subdivided into subspecies like the Atlantic walrus, the Pacific walrus and probably a third sub-species in the Laptev Sea.

Hayes Family Otter Pup Oklahoma Aquarium First Mammal To Be Showcased
A month old otter pup of the North American River is all set to step on to the water with its mother at Jenks, which is in Oklahoma Aquarium. The pup as well as the pair are said to be a part of the Hayes Family and has recently inaugurated the Aquarium this March and this Otter family is the first mammal to be showcased in this Aquarium. The biologist expected that the female otter must be pregnant and later on they went on to high alert since the very female was displaying the behavior of going to labor and for this reason she was inside her den for quite a long time.
