Fastest Fish in the world is probably the cosmopolitan Sailfish. Although there are practical difficulties to measure the speed of the fish accurately but Sailfish is considered to be the fastest fish over the short distances. According to Guinness World records, a series of speed trials carried out by Long Key Fishing Camp in Florida, one Sailfish took out 300 feet of line in three seconds, which is equivalent to a velocity of 68 miles per hour.

Born in Allahabad, in 1951, Irwin Allan Sealy is a renowed Indo-Anglian writer. He completed his schooling from La Martiniere School in Lucknow. Later he graduated from St. Stephen's College, affiliated to the Delhi University in 1971. Sealys first novel was The Trotter-Nama: A Chronicle which was published in 1988, for which he was awarded the Commonwealth Writers' prize in 1989. Allan Sealy studied and worked in Canada, USA, New Zealand and Australia.
