On 3 October 2006 their fourth and latest full-length album, Capitol Records released The Crane Wife and on a major label is their first appearance.

Emo originated from hardcore punk and indie rock in the mid 1980s in Washington D.C. The origin of the name, itself, though, has been a source of a lot of debate. The Moldy Peaches Indie Music Group
The Moldy Peaches are an indie music group from New York City. The group was found by Adam green and Kimya Dawson. The band had broken off in early 2004 but reunited for the second time a few days back on December 3rd in Los Angeles for the premiere of the movie Juno. The film has many songs from the earlier albums. The group was fronted by both Adam and Kimya who belted the numbers from the movie in the promotional event. The Peaches happily played some of their olden songs too at the event.
