Huntington WV Based Marshall Memorial Student Center Host International Festival Feature Dance Foods
On Sunday 16th November 2008, Marshall Memorial Student Center based at Huntington, WV hosted International Festival, which features traditional dances and foods comprised of Hungarian pancakes, oxtails, tea, curry chicken etc. Various entertainers performed dances in the event which includes Vietnam hat dance, Bollywood movies and many more.

Marshall University Plane Crash Huntington Tri State Airport
Marshall University plane crash caused a lot of human casualty. Human destiny has its own queer and unforeseen ways of telling things. On November 14, 1970 at around 7:35 pm the Southern Airways Flight 932 crashed down a hill very near to the Tri-State Airport and killed all seventy-five passengers on board. The death list included the thirty-seven members of the Marshall University Thundering Herd football team who earlier cancelled the same flight and later re enlisted to board the plane.

Latest findings at UT Southwestern Medical Center suggest that fatal genetic neurological disorder, which resembles Huntington’s disease, is mainly caused by defective calcium metabolism in nerve cells. A research to this effect was carried out on a mouse by the researchers of the university. The genetic neurological disease is better known as spinocerebellar ataxia 3.
