Fourteen miles away from Harrisburg lay an unincorporated community called Hershey, Pennsylvania. It is a part of the Derry Township located in the Dauphin County of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In the absence of a legal status, the community is provided with municipal services from that of the Derry Township. At the time of its conception it was named the Derry church but the ever rising fame of the Hersheys chocolate, manufactured there, it took up the name Hershey in 1906.Sometimes also referred to as the Chocolatetown of U.S.A.
