UNESCO World Heritage Sites Were Shown In Two Short Movies 11 Th Annual World Tourism Awards Event
UNESCO World Heritage Centre was given the 11th Annual World Tourism Awards. The 2008 award was presented in honor of the excellent management and support to 185 countries throughout the world by setting-up and supervising 875 UNESCO World Heritage Sites as revealed from 13th November, 2008 news. The sites look after and maintain the unique cultural and natural heritage for the coming generation.

World Heritage List Updated To Include Eight New Natural Wonders
The UNESCO World Heritage Committee has added eight new natural wonders to the list of the World Heritage sites. According to David Sheppard, the head of the Protected Areas Programme of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN), technical evaluations by the organization have revealed the natural values of these sites.

Today’s cyclocross race that was held at the Heritage Park posed a lot of challenge in front of the participants. The participant cyclists who were taking part in today’s race had to go through a rigorous course of covering rough switchbacks and also had to climb steep hilly paths. This course was highly exhausting, all through the 2 miles that they had to cover around the area of the Heritage Park, which had a number of tough and twisted switchbacks, steep hills, and alike.
