Guitarist Segovia who is also known as Andres Torres Segovia is the father of modern day classical guitar movement. This talented musician was born on February 21, 1893 at Linares, Spain. He is the first of the Marquess who is held in high esteem by most modern music scholars. He expired on June 2nd 1987.

Guitarist Flatt Lester Raymond
Lester Raymond Flatt was also popularly known as guitarist Flatt. He was one of the first people to establish the bluegrass genre of music. He is one of the few artists who have been conferred with posthumous accolades. In 1985, along with fellow band member Earl Scruggs he was given entry into the Country Music Hall of Fame. In 1991he became the first artist to get into the International Bluegrass Music Hall Of Honor. Bluegrass festivals of honor would be held in his native place Sparta in Tennessee, for a lot of years till the death of the long established host of the show Everette Paul England. More recently in the year 2003,CMT awarded the 24th position to Flatt and Scruggs in their 40 Greatest Men of Country Music list.
