Latta completed his graduation from Bowling Green Senior High School, 1974, and received a B.A. degree from Bowling Green State University, in 1978. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law, in the year 1981. Bob Latta is married to the former Marcia Sloan of Williams County and they live together in Bowling Green with their two daughters, Elizabeth, aged 15 and Maria aged 14.
