Cuba Flag Miguel Teurbe Designed
The Cuba Flag has 3 blue stripes and 2 white stripes forming a field and a red triangle with a white star in it. In the year 1902 on May 20 the flag was adopted with the design recommended by poet Miguel Teurbe. The 3 blue stripes stand for the sea which surrounds the country of Cuba while the 2 blue stripes signify the clarity of patriotism. The red triangle symbolizes the bloody battle fought for liberty from foreign dominion and the white star represents the countrys freedom.
