13th Amendment By The Congress Abolished Slavery Under Abraham Lincoln
The 13th amendment abolished Slavery in United States. The House of Representatives approved the amendment and sent to the state for ratification. The United States Constitution requires at least one third of the states to endorse the amendment so that it will be added to the constitution. On January 31st, 1865, the House passed the bill and was finally given consent on December 6th 1865.
