Monday morning an announcement came from two Democratic officials. They informed that President-elect Barack Obama would be appointing Christina Romer to the Council of Economic Advisers. Christina Romer is an economist from the University of California at Berkeley. A rollout for two days of the new economic team has been planned and Professor Romer is supposed to be with Mr. Obama for the first day.
