Country, Blue Grass and Blues was the name of a nightclub in New York City which is still more popularly known by its shorter version, CBGB. The nightclub was located at 315 Bowery in the borough of Manhattan. It was founded in 1973 by Hilly Kristal and though it was originally intended to feature its namesake musical styles, soon the nightclub became a popular venue for American punk and punk-influenced bands.
