Casey Sheehan 1st Cavalry Division Specialist Honored With Purple Heart
Casey Sheehan was a Specialist in the 1st Cavalry Division of the United States Army. He was born on May 29, 1979. He served as a mechanic with the first Cavalry Division out of Fort Hood, Texas. He was killed by enemy action while serving in the Iraq War. In 2004, he was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medal with V for Valor posthumously for actions in Iraq.

Eleanor Brennan USPC Cavalry Award Winner
After completing her provisional certification for USEA instructor and graduation in USPC, Eleanor Brennan won the prestigious USPC Cavalry Award. She was the youngest advance level event rider in USA. She had also completed a degree in equine business management from Hartpury College. Despite her broken foot, she never looked back. She successfully trained the clients horses for CCI competition and completed the USEA training for ICP instructors.
