The Mayor of Hell was a 1933 movie directed by Archie Mayo. It starred one of the Hollywood icons of the 1930s, James Cagney. The film was later remade as Crime School in 1938. This film had Humphrey Bogart play the role of Patsy Gargan, which was portrayed in the earlier movie by James Cagney.
