The City Fire Department spokesperson Melissa Kelly highlighted the fact that three homes got burnt as a result of brush fire that occurred in Sylmar, Ca close to the junction of the 210 and 118 Freeways on 14th November, 2008. Efforts are being put by 500 firefighters to gain control over the blaze that has already engulfed 1500-acre of land. The blaze is getting scattered because of the 50 mph winds that is blowing in the area. It has caused no injuries to fire personnel or the residents till now.
