Brooklyn Dodgers was a baseball team that was established in 1883, in Brooklyn, New York. In the period of the 1850s Brooklyn was a home of baseball. Most of the early baseball clubs had their origin from this place. Most of the rules created in the game were created by Henry Chadwick, a Brooklyn Sports writer. In those days, teams from Brooklyn like Atlantic, Eckford and Excelsior dominated the game. In fact, Brooklyn was the first to hold tournaments for baseball.

Brooklyn Tornado Natural Calamity
It was on the early morning of 8th August, 2007. Weather forecast warned the people of New York City about the formation of a strong tornado. However, the devastation caused by this Brooklyn Tornado was not that anyone could have easily interpreted. It was undoubtedly the strongest of all the tornadoes that had ever hit the place. It swept across a 15 km long path, from Staten Island to the Brooklyn Narrows. Brooklyn was the territory that suffered the worst damage due to this tornado. Its strength was estimated to be EF2 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale.

Brooklyn In Michigan Tourist Attraction
Brooklyn is a village situated in Jackson County of Michigan in the United States of America. The village was founded by Calvin Swain. Being the first resident of the village Calvin, he initially named it Swainsville on 16th July 1932. However, on 5th August 1936 the name of the village was changed to Brooklyn. In order to pay tribute to Calvin Swain, a sign indicating his historical discovery is constructed in the town square. Seven decades have passed since the discovery of this place and Brooklyn converted itself from a village to a beautiful town.
