Belmont Stakes American Grade I Stakes Race
The Belmont Stakes race is the third section of the Triple Crown, and is organized after five weeks of the Kentucky Derby, and after three weeks of the Preakness Stakes. It is a blue-blooded aristocratic horse race for three-year-old colts and geldings, and is often also referred to as the Run for the Carnations, named after the white carnations that are beautifully covered over the winner's neck.
