The Teenage Book Writer Alex Sanchez Rainbow Writers Lambda Literary Award
Alex Sanchez was born in 1957 in Mexico and is a famous American author of books for teens and children. He started his writing career in 2001. He attended the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown in Massachusetts and trained himself with Jacqueline Woodson, Michael Klein, Michael Cunningham, Richard McCann, Allan Gurganus, Elizabeth McCracken and Peter Ho Davies. His books deal with rebellious youth, homosexuality, modernism, family issues, friendship and love.
