Nittany Lions Pennsylvania State University Mascot Reached To Number 12 In The Preseason Polls
The Nittany Lions is basically the mascot of the Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pennsylvania as well as its athletic teams. It was at the number 22 position in the preseason polls and has managed to get to the No. 12. The success which they would get over Illinois would further help them to be close to the top 10 in September 2008. It is a reference to the mountain lions that used to roam close to the school as well as to local landmark Mount Nittany.
