Sunshine Skyway Bridge Longest Bridge With Cable Stayed Main Span
Sunshine Skyway Bridge is the worlds longest bridge having a cable stayed main span. This bridge is approximately 8.85 km long and spans the Tampa Bay in Florida. It carries the I-275 and the US 19 and connects St. Peterburg in Pinellas County to the Terra Ceia in the Manatee County and crosses the Hillsborough County.

Sunshine Skyway Bridge Longest Bridge
The Sunshine Skyway Bridge is the longest bridge in the world extending upto 29,040 feet which is nearly 5.5 miles or 8.85 km. It constitutes the part of I-275 and US 19 which joins the St. Petersburg in Pinellas County and Terra Ceia in Manatee County in Florida crossing the waters of Hillsborough County. The year 1982 marked the start of the building of the bridge which finally got constructed on the 7th February, 1987. It was accessible for transport on 20th April, 1987. The expenses incurred on it was rounded to about $244 million.
