Hades River Flowing Through Hell
Hades River is essentially the name of a river. As per the Indo-European concept the Hades refers to the ancient Greek underworld and this river is supposed to flow through hell. At the same time the term Hades also refers to the god of the dead. In Greek mythology, Hades and his brothers Zeus (younger) and Poseidon (older) claimed authority over the universe, underworld, sky and the sea respectively by defeating the Titans. While Zeus got the sky, Hades became the ruler of the underworld. The other brother that is Poseidon hence became the master of the sea.
