Poseidon God Of The Seas Neptune in Roman Mythology
In the Greek pantheon, Zeus is the king of the gods. He rules the skies and the living, Hades rules the underworld and Poseidon is the god of the seas. Known as Neptune in Roman mythology, Poseidon was also once a male spirit of fertility and one of the early civic gods. He is the eldest son of Titans Cronus and Rhea and is one of the first Olympians. Hades, Zeus and Hera are his siblings.
