Arthur Bremer Accused In George Wallace Attack
Arthur Bremer hit the headlines when he shot US Democratic Presidential Candidate George Wallace on 15th May in 1972 in Laurel, Maryland. This heinous crime did not kill the U.S. Presidential candidate but left him disabled for life. He was thrown into the Maryland prison for a term of 53 years.

George Wallace Former Governor Of Alabama
George Wallas, who ran the United States presidential election four times and was also elected the Governor of Alabama for the same number of times, was born on 25th August, 1919 and passed away on 13th September 1998. A successful boxer in his high school days, he graduated with a law degree from the University of Alabama. Soon afterwards, he was enlisted in the US Army Air Corps during World War IIs flying combat mission over Japan. It was in this period that he suffered a partial hearing loss due to a near fatal medical condition.
