Chile Earthquake Strong Earthquake
Chile like many other countries has quite a long history of strong earthquakes which includes the strongest recorded in recent history in the year 1960 of 9.5 magnitude, Valdivia quake that killed thousands of people. The Chile Earthquake hit the mineral rich area of Chile injuring more than 100 and killing minimum of two people. It had a powerful 7.7 magnitude. There were two quakes on the same day.

Los Angeles Earthquake Major Calamity
An earthquake can be one of the greatest calamities mankind has to face, because the very ground under your feet cannot guarantee you any safety. There have been very big earthquakes in the history of the earth and the Los Angeles earthquake happens to be one such. This earthquake occurred at Northridge in the city of Los Angeles, California on the 17th of January 1994 at 4:31 AM. It measured 6.7 on the Richter scale. The ground vibrations were one of the most violent to have occurred in any North American city area.

San Francisco Earthquake In 1906
The San Francisco earthquake of 1906 was one of the biggest natural disasters in the history of United States. It struck at 5:12 am on April 18, 1906 and the epicenter was about 3 km offshore near Mussell Rock. In 1989 San Francisco Bay area was rocked by another major earthquake which struck on October 17, and which left 63 people dead in Northern California.

The earthquake measured to be 6.7 in the Richter scale, which was enough to classify it as a strong earthquake. In fact, it is one of the strongest hitting earthquakes that United States of America has ever recorded on the scale.

Earthquake San Fransisco took place on 18th April which was a Wednesday at 5:12 A.M. in the year 1906. The earthquake which hit San Francisco effected areas in the coast of northern California. Vanuatu Earthquake 2002 South West Pacific Calamity
Vanuatu earthquake created much uproar in media, as it is one of the most devastating natural calamities.The year 2002 is remembered for a powerful earthquake that struck Vanuatu, which is a group of about 80 islands in the Southwest Pacific with a total population count of about 190,000 people. There were no reported deaths though many people were injured. Nearby Buildings in the business district of the town were damaged and shops had broken windows. Ground liquefaction was accountable for most of the damage to structures, homes, and buildings.
