Dawn Wells was born on 19th October, 1938 in Reno, Nevada. She became popular as Mary Ann of Gilligan's Island in a television series. Her father was a real estate developer and owner of Wells Cargo. In early stage she took interest in modeling and attended several beauty pageant. In 1959 Dawn won the title of Miss Nevada and in 1960 she took part in Miss America pageant.
