Reptiles are cold blooded, air breathing vertebrates which fall under the kingdom Animalia phylum Chordate under subphylum Vertebrata and Class Sauropsida. These reptiles are found Worldwide except in the region of Antarctica. One of the oldest known creatures of this species is Hylonomus and its size varies from 20 to 30 cm (8 to 12 inches). However many scientists considers Westlothiana to be the oldest but it resembles more to amphibians than amniotes.
