A panel of 2nd U.S. Circuit Court has ruled out the convictions of bribery and racketeering of a Connecticut corporate attorney as it was found that the prosecutors were suppressing evidence that were exculpatory and impeachable. In 2003, Charles B. Spadoni of Triumph Capital Group, private equity firm in Boston was sentenced to 36 months in prison. He was accused of directing two fake $1 million contracts to the associates of a former Connecticut State treasurer, Paul J. Silvester.
