Pro Football Hall Of Fame Of NFL At Canton Ohio For Limiting Induction
National Football League has created the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, USA on 7th September, 1963 with 17 charter inductees. It is to be noted that till 2007, all the inductees, barring one exception of Billy Shaw of Buffalo Bills, played a part of their professional career in the NFL. The Chicago Bears has the largest number of persons in this Hall of Fame . Canton was chosen as the location because American Professional Football Association , which later became known as NFL, was from Canton and its community successfully lobbied for the same.

East West Shrine Game Post Season College Football Competition
The East West Shrine Game is a post season college football competition held annually in January. The game is synonymous to the Shrine Bowl and its slogan is Strong Legs Run That Weak Legs May Walk. The members of the game comprise attendants of college in the Eastern United States against Western United States, and ever since 1985, players of Canadian university football were invited. This is the only bowl game that takes into account the players from both Canadian and American universities.
