Fashion critic Mr. Blackwell died on Sunday at the age of 86. Publicist Harlan Boll informed that the acerbic designer had died of complications from an intestinal infection. Blackwell did not achieve much fame as a dress- designer when he brought out his first harsh criticism of fashion trends in Hollywood in 1960.
