Swap Shop is a popular UK childrens television program. It is a short form of Multi-colored Swap Shot. It had 146 episodes which were broadcast on Saturday mornings on BBC One. It consisted of 16 series and ran between October 2, 1976 and March 27, 1982. It starred actors like Noel Edmonds, Keith Chegwin, John Craven, Maggie Philbin (series3-6) and Posh Paus. Its running time was 2.5hrs to 3 hrs. This show was pioneer to use phone-in format extensively. This show very soon grew popular among its audience. The show did not only earn huge profit to the producers but also helped the actors to become more famous.
