Lynne Reid Banks Famous English Writer Novelist
Lynne Reid Banks is a British writer who was born in London in the year 1929 on July 31st. She has written forty books including the most notable bestseller The Indian in the Cupboard for children with over ten million copies sold and also a movie. She was the only child of her parents. During the Second World War she shifted to Canada with her parents but later came back to London after the War got over. Before becoming writer, she was an actress and also a TV journalist.
