Jane Taylor was born on September 23, 1783 and lived till April 13, 1824 and was a English poet as well as novelist. She composed the lyrics of the song namely Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star in the year 1806 when she was 23 years old and was residing in Shilling Street, Lavenham, Suffolk.
