RTZ began as an alliance between Brad Delp and Barry Goudreau around 1989. Both Barry and Brad were members of the Boston band which had notable success in the seventies and the early eighties. Barry sought a solo career. The idea didnt go well with one of the band members and resulted in his exit from the band. But he stayed in close contact with Delp who even contributed to his solo album and also took part in his Orion the Hunter tour.
