Boudica was a warrior queen of the Brythonic Celtic Iceni people of Norfolk in Eastern Britain, who rebelled against the occupying forces of the Roman Empire in 60/61 AD. She was a very intelligent and a daring Queen of her time. Her story has inspired the publication of several novels like The War of Queen; J.F. Broxholme, The Eagle and the Raven; Pauline Gedge and many more. She has been a prime character for films like Boudica and Boadicea and many TV series such as Warrior Queen, Xena: Warrior princess (single episode) and many more.
