World Heritage List Updated To Include Eight New Natural Wonders
The UNESCO World Heritage Committee has added eight new natural wonders to the list of the World Heritage sites. According to David Sheppard, the head of the Protected Areas Programme of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN), technical evaluations by the organization have revealed the natural values of these sites.
