Cowboy’s proprietor, Jerry Jones has planned to construct a magnificent 3 million square-foot stadium. If this happens, it will be the first instance in this part of the country. Jerry Jones was ready to reposition Dallas Cowboys to Dallas, but a mayor, who is nicknamed, “Madam No” and a commissioner canceled the proposition head on.
Instead they strategically passed Jones towards the residents of Arlington, who pays about $325 as tax. Now all the hindrances are almost over and the stadium building has started. The total estimated cost was hold as $1.3 billion with the daily cost being $1 million. Almost 1,600 workers are engaged n this gigantic build up. The football ground has been scheduled to open in 2009.
The work of the stadium is almost 70% over. Its mammoth structure is a unique in itself. When the Texas Rangers’ Ballpark, which is situated just a couple of yard in distance, has been compared with it, the former looked like a simple building with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The dream ground of Jerry Jones will have certain distinct characteristics. It includes a $45 million, 2,160-inch screen that will be suspended 100 feet above the playing ground.
When Jerry was asked about the utility of the screen in the field, he said it has been done for a better vision, like a 4D theater. Jerry seemed to be obsessive about the screen. He got the idea to buy it after watching the Celine Dion Concert at the Caesar’s Palace, which is located in Las Vegas.
When Jerry Jones was asked about the colossal structure of the sporting arena, he said that he was highly inspired by the Houston Astrodome, which he had visited in his senior class in the Arkansas University, before a bowl game. The solid and comprehensive infrastructure there impressed him very much and he vows to give the players the same in his stadium.
Jerry Jones also thinks that the huge stadium will be revered as his family heritage. Often it is seen that Jerry’s wife and his daughter Charlotte take trip around the world to get different ideas for the stadium.
The stadium will also have stupendous glass structure around it. This will let the ground have a different look in the night and in the daytime. The structure will also have two quarter-mile arches and a hole on the roof. According to Jones, the stadium will be able to hold eight functions in the same night and when fully built will resemble the White House.
